Location
Duliajan is situated 50 km south east of Dibrugarh in the civil district of Dibrugarh. It is the head quarters of Oil India and Assam Gas Company. The parish is called Vikasika and is situated in a village called Naholia.
History of the parish
It is a daughter parish of Naharkatia. It was opened by Fr. Joy Pallikunnel in the year 1987. A presbytery, Convent, girl's boarding and two schools have been built in this mission. The newly built Church was blessed in 2002. The parish has a Catholic population of 6000 spread over in 23 substations.
The Congregation of Sisters of Nazareth help in the parish by way of teaching, village visits and by running a dispensary.
